Camping
The Connecticut Yankee Council owns and operates five camping facilities for use by Scouts and other organizations. Our flagship summer camp is Camp Sequassen, located in New Hartford, CT. The Council's high-adventure base, new home of the Cub Resident Summer Camp and location of the Adventure Day Camp is Deer Lake Adventure Center in Killingworth. Three other properties, Hoyt Scout Reservation in Redding, Wah Wah Tay See in Hamden, and Camp Pomperaug in Union, are maintained for weekend use.
